You will mentor engineers, establish standards, and work with cross‑functional teams to translate business requirements into robust platform solutions.

The role emphasizes driving platform stability, performance improvements, and governance across API and data layers in a large healthcare operations environment.

Qualifications

• 8-12 years of experience, preferred.
• 5+ years of hands‑on GCP experience in products like Compute Engine, IAM and APIs.
• Bachelor's degree in related field, or equivalent work experience, preferred.
• Experience maintaining Databricks platform.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and enhancement of core software & information platforms.
• Provide platform metrics & proactively identify patterns to improve platform stability.
• Ability to break down complex initiatives into small actionable work items.
• Troubleshoot complex platform and cloud issues, perform root‑cause analysis, and drive long‑term stability and performance improvements.
• Establish platform standards, best practices, and governance across cloud architectures, integrations, and application frameworks.
• Collaborate with Application Development, Infrastructure, and Architecture teams to translate business requirements into robust platform designs and reusable components.
• Mentor and guide engineers across teams by providing architectural insights, code reviews, knowledge sharing, and technical leadership.
