Job summary

Cardinal Health is seeking a seasoned Pharmacy Applications leader to own end-to-end delivery of pharmacy software platforms. You will coordinate across engineering, integration, QA, and product teams to ensure stable, compliant delivery that aligns with business goals.

You will establish platform roadmaps, manage dependencies and risks, and drive modernization efforts while partnering with vendors and internal stakeholders to optimize patient outcomes and operational performance.

Qualifications

• 8-12 years of experience in pharmacy/healthcare IT and platform delivery.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.
• Experience leading cross-functional delivery teams (Engineering, Integration, QA, PM).
• Strong understanding of enterprise systems, middleware, APIs, SQL-based data access, and cloud environments.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end outcomes for Pharmacy Applications across intake, build/configuration, integration, run, and support.
• Serve as the accountable owner for pharmacy system delivery, stability, and outcomes.
• Translate business goals into executable delivery plans with clear scope, dependencies, and risks.
• Ensure delivery quality through disciplined planning, estimation, and execution in integration-heavy environments.
• Define decision rights for Pharmacy Apps and drive platform strategy, priorities, and roadmaps.
