Job summary

Cardinal Health is seeking a senior leader for Software & Information Platforms to design, develop, and enhance core platform capabilities across cloud architectures. You will translate business needs into robust platform designs, mentor engineers, and partner with Application Development, Infrastructure, and Architecture teams.

8–12 years of experience, strong GCP and Databricks expertise required; Bachelor's degree preferred. Anticipated salary range: $123,400 - $176,300.

Qualifications

• 8-12 years of experience, preferred.
• 5+ years of hands-on GCP experience in Compute Engine, IAM and APIs.
• Experience maintaining Databricks platform.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and enhancement of core software & information platforms
• Provide platform metrics & proactively identify patterns to improve platform stability
• Ability to break down complex initiatives into small actionable work items
• Troubleshoot complex platform and cloud issues, perform root‑cause analysis, and drive long‑term stability and performance improvements.
• Establish platform standards, best practices, and governance across cloud architectures, integrations, and application frameworks.
• Collaborate with Application Development, Infrastructure, and Architecture teams to translate business requirements into robust platform designs and reusable components.
• Mentor and guide engineers across teams by providing architectural insights, code reviews, knowledge sharing, and technical leadership
