Job summary

HireRising is seeking a Senior Cloud Engineer to join our Cloud Platform Engineering team, building secure, scalable cloud and container platforms across public cloud and hybrid environments.

The role emphasizes Kubernetes, automation, IaC with Terraform, and collaboration with security and operations to deliver reliable cloud services. You will contribute to migration efforts, automate infrastructure, and create runbooks for operations teams.

Qualifications

• Experience with Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud.
• Kubernetes and container platform experience.
• Linux systems administration and networking fundamentals.
• Terraform or other Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools.
• Automation and scripting experience.
• Cloud infrastructure, systems engineering, or platform engineering background.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Build, deploy, and support enterprise cloud and container platforms.
• Implement and manage Kubernetes-based environments.
• Assist with cloud migration initiatives from on-premises to cloud platforms.
• Develop Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform and automation scripts.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize cloud infrastructure.
• Collaborate with engineering, security, and operations teams.
• Support cloud security, RBAC, compliance, and operational best practices.
• Create technical documentation, runbooks, and operational procedures.
