Job summary
Walgreens is seeking a Senior Software Engineer I to design and build scalable, cloud-native platform services. You will automate infrastructure and pipelines, integrate observability, and collaborate with security, operations, and engineering teams to improve developer experience and platform reliability.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent with 4+ years in software engineering, or 7+ years with a HS diploma.
- Experience building cloud-native platform services and automation.
- Proven ability to create and maintain automation, CI/CD pipelines, and IaC scripts.
Responsibilities
- Design platform services, APIs, and automation frameworks for scalable delivery.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps.
- Implement Infrastructure as Code with Terraform/Bicep to automate cloud provisioning.
- Develop reusable tools to improve developer productivity and self-service.
- Collaborate with multiple teams to integrate best practices into platforms.
- Support AKS and containerized workloads, improving deployment patterns.
- Contribute to observability with logging, monitoring, and alerting.
- Participate in code reviews, testing, and troubleshooting.
- Identify opportunities to automate and optimize system performance.
