Allegro Pay in Warsaw is seeking a Platform Engineer to help scale our first-citizen platform, focusing on .NET and Azure. You will develop tools for developers, support Kubernetes workloads, and design high-availability across multi-region.

You will work in a hybrid model with flexible hours (4/1) and occasional remote work; salary PLN 20 500 - 27 250 PLN, with annual bonus and RSU long-term incentives.

Qualifications

• Experience with platform engineering, Kubernetes and GitOps (Istio, ArgoCD, Helm).
• Experience with public cloud services (Azure).
• Skills in scripting languages like PowerShell or Bash.
• Understand distributed systems and their design.
• Experience with containerization and cloud computing.
• Want to build software and tools for other developers.
• Willing to accept feedback during code reviews.
• Search for efficient solutions to meet users’ needs.
• Eager to continuously develop skills.
• Know English at at least B2 level.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain tools for developers.
• Support and improve Kubernetes workloads like Istio and Argo.
• Design and implement high availability on multi-region setup.
• Research new technologies, execute proof of concepts, and write down analyses.
• Help developers from product teams use the platform in an efficient way by providing them with tools, automations and integrations.
• All of the above in one of the biggest .NET and Azure products in Poland, with hundreds of microservices and millions of happy customers.
