Job summary

GFT Poland is seeking a seasoned Cloud Platform Architect to lead the design, evolution, and operation of enterprise Azure-based solutions. You will blend architecture, platform engineering and DevOps to deliver secure, scalable cloud services within a regulated environment.

Key responsibilities include defining standards, deploying AKS, managing APIs with APIM, guiding releases, and ensuring platform governance across global teams.

Working place: Hybrid

Type of contract: B2B contract

Salary range: 170 - 210 PLN/H

What will you do?

Join a large-scale enterprise environment and drive the design, evolution and operation of strategic cloud platform solutions on Microsoft Azure. You will combine architecture, platform engineering and DevOps expertise to build secure, scalable and highly available cloud services while supporting mission-critical systems operating in a regulated environment.

• Design and implement enterprise-scale Azure platform solutions
• Define cloud architecture standards and best practices
• Design, deploy and maintain Kubernetes platforms using AKS
• Manage and secure APIs through Azure API Management
• Build and improve CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation
• Lead production releases and release management activities
• Govern and support multiple environments across the delivery lifecycle
• Investigate production incidents and perform root cause analysis
• Support critical production systems and platform services
• Drive platform governance and operational excellence initiatives
• Implement and support security controls and platform standards
• Collaborate with international and cross-functional teams
• Expert knowledge of Microsoft Azure
• Expert knowledge of Azure cloud services and architecture
• Experience designing and implementing cloud infrastructure solutions
• Strong experience with Kubernetes and Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS)
• Experience with Azure API Management (APIM)
• Experience designing and implementing Disaster Recovery solutions
• Experience in platform architecture and platform engineering
• Strong knowledge of CI/CD processes and automation
• Experience managing production deployments and release processes
• Experience supporting complex production environments
• Experience performing incident management and root cause analysis
• Strong knowledge of Identity and Access Management (IAM)
• Experience implementing cloud governance and security standards

• Experience with Ping Identity or PingFederate
• Experience in banking or financial services
• Experience working in highly regulated environments
• Experience with enterprise-scale cloud transformation initiatives
• Experience working in distributed international teams
• Knowledge of multi-environment deployment processes
