Allegro is seeking a Software Engineer 2 for the Logistics team in Warsaw to design and build high-availability backend services using C#/.NET Core. You will own services from design to deployment and work on REST APIs and PostgreSQL-based systems in a cloud-native environment with Docker and Kubernetes.

The role involves collaboration with the mobile logistics team, contributing to engineering best practices, and occasionally working with legacy SOAP/WCF components.

Qualifications

• Experience building high-performance backend services in C#/.NET.
• Designing scalable REST APIs.
• Strong SQL knowledge with PostgreSQL and ORM like Entity Framework.
• Experience with cloud-native environments using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with message brokers such as Azure Service Bus.
• Caching with Redis; performance tuning.
• Experience with legacy SOAP/WCF when needed.
• English proficiency (minimum B2).

Responsibilities

• Develop high-performance backend services in C#/.NET.
• Own services from design to deployment within an agile team.
• Build and maintain REST APIs and integrate with PostgreSQL.
• Operate in a cloud-native stack with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Collaborate with mobile team to support the logistics platform.
