Team: Technology

Contract Type: Employee

About the job:

We are part of Allegro and we are specialists in providing advanced IT systems for logistics management

Massive Scale: Design and build high-availability systems used by tens of thousands of users. This is high-performance engineering in practice.

Modern Tech Stack: Work with a world-class environment using C#, .NET Core, ASP.NET, REST, PostgreSQL, Azure, Docker, Kubernetes, EntityFramework, and Redis.

True Ownership & Autonomy: We live by a \"you build it, you run it\" philosophy. You'll join an agile, autonomous team with full ownership of the services you create, from design to deployment.

Complex Challenges: You will tackle complex backend problems, using technology to solve real-world business challenges.

Join the logistics’ mobile team! You will have a chance to accelerate Allegro’s One logistics operations through mobile apps serving all various groups of workers: from couriers, warehousemen, truck drivers up to APMs’ installers and servicemen.

You will have a chance to build the systems powering our logistics infrastructure. Your team works to streamline the critical operations that power the final stages of our delivery network. We prioritize high performance and a great team atmosphere. We are currently evolving our engineering practices, and this role is an excellent opportunity to actively contribute to the backend team’s growth.

Important things for you:

Flexible working hours in the hybrid model (4/1) - working hours start between 7:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m. We also have 30 days of occasional remote work.

The salary range for this position depending on the skill set is as follows (contract of employment, tax-deductible cost):

PLN 14 600 - 20 825

Annual bonus based on your annual performance and company results.

Our team is based in Warsaw.

We are looking for people who:

Are proficient in C# and .NET Core / ASP.NET, with experience in building high-performance backend services;

Have solid experience in designing scalable REST APIs;

Have solid experience with RDBMS (e.g., PostgreSQL) and ORM tools like Entity Framework; experience with other relational databases is also highly valued, as SQL knowledge is key;

Are comfortable working in a cloud-native environment with Docker, and Kubernetes;

Have experience working with Azure Service Bus or other message broker systems, to handle asynchronous communication;

Know how to utilize Redis for efficient caching and performance tuning;

Have an understanding of the challenges backend systems face when supporting mobile applications, as your work will be critical for our mobile platform (an additional advantage);

Are eager to actively contribute to our backend team's growth by helping us shape and refine our engineering best practices;

Take full ownership of your code – you enjoy being involved in the full software development lifecycle;

Are excited to join a growing team where they can influence the technical vision and help shape new projects from the ground up within the ecosystem;

You have a pragmatic approach to legacy components (e.g., SOAP/WCF); you are comfortable with them when necessary, though this accounts for only a minor portion of your daily work.

Know English at at least B2 level.

What's in it for you:

Well-located offices (with e.g. fully equipped kitchens, bicycle parking, terraces full of greenery) and excellent work tools (e.g., raised desks, ergonomic chairs, interactive conference rooms).

A 16\" or 14\" Dell with Windows and all the necessary accessories.
