Job summary

Genworth | CareScout seeks a Senior Platform Engineer to build and operate enterprise Azure Databricks, Confluent Kafka, and DevOps foundations. You’ll create reusable Terraform modules, define governance, and drive automation across data platforms.

You’ll partner with Architecture, Cybersecurity, and Engineering to deliver scalable, secure, and compliant data services, enabling self-service delivery and reliable deployments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
• 5+ years designing, developing, and supporting IaC solutions with Terraform.
• Deep experience with GitLab and Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and DevSecOps practices.
• Hands-on Azure Databricks administration, Unity Catalog, and security controls.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, administer, and support enterprise Azure Databricks, Confluent Kafka, and related data platform services.
• Lead IaC solutions using Terraform with reusable modules and platform blueprints.
• Develop and optimize CI/CD pipelines and DevSecOps automation using GitLab and Azure DevOps.
• Establish platform governance, security controls, RBAC, and environment provisioning.
• Collaborate with Architecture, Cybersecurity, and Engineering to deliver scalable data platforms.
