Job summary

Tango Analytics is seeking a Senior Platform Engineer to join our Platform Engineering team. You will help rearchitect our cloud estate on AWS and Azure, stand up an SRE and observability practice, and build an Internal Developer Platform with golden paths for fast, safe, self-service software delivery.

You will codify infrastructure using Terraform, OpenTofu, and Ansible, define policy and FinOps standards, and own the CI/CD and Kubernetes platform operations across teams.

Qualifications

• Experience architecting cloud platforms and platforms engineering.
• Strong background in infrastructure-as-code and automation.
• Proven ability to build reusable platform building blocks.
• Ability to set technical standards and drive adoption.
• Collaborative mindset across engineering teams.

Responsibilities

• Migrate AWS/Azure infra to Terraform/Ansible with modular design.
• Build and maintain reusable Terraform modules for compute, networking, storage, and identity.
• Define FinOps standards and cost governance across clouds.
• Design and implement observability with Prometheus, Datadog, Loki, OpenTelemetry.
• Lead the internal developer platform and golden paths for common workflows.
• Own the CI/CD and Kubernetes platform operations (EKS/AKS).
• Develop capacity planning models and runbooks for reliability.
• Establish SRE practices from scratch with incident playbooks and chaos testing.
