Job summary

Colossus Technologies Group is seeking a Senior Platform Engineer in New York to scale an AI-native fintech platform. You’ll own cloud infrastructure, build internal platforms, and work with developers to speed delivery while ensuring reliability.

Qualifications

• Strong cloud experience on AWS or equivalent
• Hands-on with Kubernetes, Docker, containerized apps
• Terraform and IaC proficiency for scalable infra
• Proficient in modern programming languages (Go/Python)
• Experience building CI/CD pipelines and improving developer workflows
• Understand networking, Linux, distributed systems, and production reliability
• Capable of owning complex infra projects end-to-end
• Experience in high-growth startups or engineering-driven orgs is a plus

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and scale cloud environments supporting production apps and AI workloads
• Improve container orchestration, deployment infrastructure, and workload management
• Develop and maintain scalable infrastructure using Terraform and automation
• Build internal tooling and self-service infrastructure for developers
• Improve build/deploy pipelines and automate repetitive tasks
• Enhance monitoring, logging, performance, and incident response
• Collaborate with backend engineers on architecture to tackle infra challenges
• Support AI-driven product environments with reliable infrastructure
