Job summary

Colossus Technologies Group is partnering with a rapidly growing fintech to build out a highly technical Platform Security organization. This role targets engineers who can write production software, deeply understand cloud infrastructure, and build security capabilities rather than simply configuring products.

The team focuses on securing large-scale cloud production environments, Kubernetes, IAM, and automated policy enforcement, with security integrated into CI/CD and engineering workflows.

Qualifications

• Strong software engineering fundamentals.
• Experience producing production-grade software.
• Understanding of distributed systems and production infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Build security services and internal tooling in Python and/or Go.
• Secure large-scale AWS environments and cloud-native infrastructure.
• Ensure security controls are embedded into CI/CD and engineering workflows.
• Develop scalable security guardrails for engineering teams.
• Apply AI and automation to cloud security and vulnerability management.
• Design security systems that operate reliably in production.
