Job summary

Super.com is seeking a Staff Platform Engineer to lead platform engineering, drive internal tooling, and define the AI-first infrastructure roadmap. You will own cross-functional initiatives, architect self-serve tooling, and raise the technical bar across the DevOps/Infrastructure teams.

This role emphasizes leadership, hands-on execution, and close collaboration with engineering leadership. You’ll operate across AWS, Kubernetes, and modern IaC, mentoring engineers and advancing DORA metrics

Qualifications

10+ years in Software/DevOps/Platform roles with senior-level experience
AI-first leadership experience for infrastructure and platform engineering
Proven ownership of internal developer platforms and self-service tooling
Strong cloud/infra skills: AWS, Kubernetes, IaC, CI/CD
Deliverables across full stack and reliability improvements

Responsibilities

Define and drive platform engineering roadmap and strategy
Architect and maintain internal platforms and tools for self-serve infra and AI-first automation
Develop and expand internal AI Agent Platform and drive adoption
Improve developer experience based on DevEx surveys and feedback
Migrate ops tasks to automated/agentic flows
Maintain and extend cloud infra (Kubernetes, AWS, databases, caches) with IaC
Own automated collection and analysis of platform and DORA metrics
Set best practices and drive build-vs-buy decisions and tooling docs
Mentor engineers across the organization
Participate in on-call rotations to maintain availability, reliability, and security
