Job summary

CrowdStrike is seeking a senior backend-focused leader to architect and build the risk intelligence platform for Falcon Exposure Management. You will ingest massive data streams, run risk calculations, and deploy AI-driven insights.

The role combines Golang microservices with multi-database ecosystems, and offers hybrid work in Sunnyvale, CA with 2–3 days in the office. Leverage your deep experience in distributed systems, cloud infra, and mentorship to drive product delivery and secure outcomes

Qualifications

• 8–10 years in production-grade distributed systems.
• Proficiency in Golang and Python; strong typing.
• Experience with REST APIs and microservices.
• Cloud infrastructure across AWS/Azure/GCP.
• Understanding of concurrency, caching, and sharding.
• Kafka experience for messaging and throughput.
• Familiarity with Redis, PostgreSQL, and real-time data pipelines.
• Proven ability to mentor juniors and lead tech decisions.

Responsibilities

• Design and build scalable backend services for high-volume data.
• Develop CLI tools and APIs within the platform ecosystem.
• Architect data pipelines, databases, and monitoring.
• Collaborate with UX/UI and Sensors teams for integrated solutions.
• Ensure reliability, monitoring, and incident response.
• Drive architectural improvements and performance optimizations.
• Mentor junior engineers and participate in code reviews.
• Maintain service health and reliability across distributed systems.
