Job summary

CrowdStrike is seeking a senior backend engineer to architect and build the Falcon Exposure Management platform. You will design scalable services that ingest massive data streams, implement risk calculations, and deliver automated remediation for hybrid environments spanning endpoints, cloud, and identities.

You will lead architecture decisions, mentor engineers, and collaborate across UX/UI, sensors, and operations.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of production experience building, delivering, and maintaining large-scale distributed systems.
• Advanced programming expertise in object-oriented languages (Golang and Python).
• Proven microservices experience with designing scalable REST APIs and distributed patterns.
• Strong cloud infrastructure knowledge (AWS preferred).
• Solid distributed systems understanding including concurrency and caching strategies.
• Experience with Kafka for messaging and data pipelines.
• Experience applying AI technologies to improve workflows and outcomes.
• Database versatility with PostgreSQL and Redis.
• Strong debugging, testing, and resilient architecture skills.
• Bachelor's degree in CS/Engineering or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Backend Architecture: Design and develop scalable backend services powering internal and customer-facing apps.
• Developer Tools: Create CLI utilities and APIs that integrate with the platform ecosystem.
• Infrastructure Design: Architect databases, data pipelines, and monitoring solutions.
• Cross-team Collaboration: Work with UX/UI, Sensors, and other teams on integrated solutions.
• Operational Excellence: Monitor, alert, and maintain high availability for production services.
• Continuous Innovation: Improve architecture and performance through iterative refinements.
• Technical Mentorship: Guide junior engineers and participate in technical decisions.
• Service Reliability: Ensure robust operations and proactive incident response.
