Job summary

Improvix Technologies is seeking a Senior Platform Engineer to design, build, and own backend services, APIs, and enterprise integrations for AI applications. You will enable data and AI capabilities across services, ensuring security, reliability, and scalable production deployment in a fully remote U.S. environment.

The role requires 8+ years of software engineering, deep experience with backend languages, and experience integrating with enterprise platforms such as ServiceNow. U.S.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of software engineering experience, including 3+ years building and owning production services end to end.
• Strong programming ability in Python, Java, Go, or TypeScript and RESTful APIs design.
• Experience integrating with enterprise platforms like ServiceNow via APIs, messaging, or event streaming.
• Identity integration with OAuth 2.0, OIDC, or SAML and enterprise identity providers.
• Experience building CI/CD pipelines with integrated security scanning.
• ATO/compliance work: producing evidence, hardening, remediation.
• Experience deploying to AWS or Azure with IaC and containers.
• Ability to work independently on a remote team and explain tradeoffs.
• U.S. citizenship and active Secret clearance; availability East Coast hours.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain backend services and APIs in Python, Java, Go, or TypeScript.
• Build front-end components or internal tooling where a capability needs them.
• H old the line on code quality through reviews, automated testing, and engineering standards.
• Design services for failure: timeouts, retries, idempotency, and clear behavior when a dependency is down.
