Job summary

Everforth Apex is seeking a DevOps Engineer to lead platform automation and infra initiatives. You will drive performance optimization, define platform standards, and resolve complex issues on onsite teams in Findlay, OH or other listed locations. Strong automation, IaC, and security focus are essential.

You will mentor staff, develop reliable automation frameworks, and contribute to disaster recovery planning while aligning with enterprise IT standards and governance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in IT or related field.
• 5+ years of platforms engineer experience.
• Experience with cloud, IaC, networking, security, and automation.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools and infrastructure automation.

Responsibilities

• Identify performance bottlenecks and implement fixes to improve platform performance.
• Lead platform and system troubleshooting; document procedures.
• Manage escalated issues and coordinate technical support activities.
• Drive backup planning and disaster/recovery testing design.
• Analyze usage data to guide optimization and corrective actions.
• Design and configure complex platforms per best practices.
• Create and maintain a comprehensive knowledge base for platforms.
