Job summary

Everforth Apex is seeking a senior Automation and Release Engineer to lead administration and governance of our GitHub Enterprise and Azure DevOps platforms. You will enable hundreds of application teams to deliver safely and rapidly while handling daily operational tasks and onboarding experiences.

The role emphasizes CI/CD enablement, automation scripting, and collaboration with vendors, with a focus on maintaining platform health, performance, and security across enterprise-scale environments.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of senior-level engineer experience.
• At least 1 year in release automation or code migrations.
• Experience in a medium to large enterprise environment.
• Proven experience providing L2/L3 support and handling many tickets.

Responsibilities

• Administer and govern GitHub Enterprise and Azure DevOps platforms.
• Manage CI/CD pipelines, repos, access and permissions for teams.
• Provide L2/L3 platform support and triage runner issues.
• Automate and improve systems to enable agile development.
• Maintain health of CI/CD tools with upgrades and patches.
• Support onboarding for development teams and liaise with vendors.
