Job summary

Everforth Apex Systems in Orlando, FL is seeking a Senior Software Engineer / Cloud Engineer to lead the design and implementation of scalable infrastructure and cloud-native systems. You will mentor peers, influence architecture, and drive DevOps practices across teams.

Proficiency in Python, AWS services, IaC, and containerization is required. The role emphasizes building high-performance, low-latency solutions, maintaining CI/CD pipelines, and applying modern cloud engineering techniques

Qualifications

5+ years of software development experience across diverse technical domains, with demonstrated ability in data management and distributed systems.
Hands-on experience designing and implementing solutions with AWS services, especially IAM, S3, Kinesis, Lambda, and SNS.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and containerization (Docker).
Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or AWS CDK.

Responsibilities

Lead design and implementation of scalable, high-performance infrastructure and systems.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to solve complex problems.
Deliver well-documented code with attention to time and space complexity.
Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitLab or GitHub.
Propose scalable, low-latency and reliable architectural approaches.
Conduct code reviews and provide technical mentorship.
Stay current with modern cloud and software engineering practices.
