Job summary

CrowdStrike Inc. is seeking a Platform Data Engineer to architect, deploy, and operate the core data infrastructure underpinning our analytics ecosystem.

You will own reliability, scalability, and performance across data platform services in a remote-friendly, security-conscious environment. The role requires extensive Python, Airflow and Superset expertise, IaC with Terraform, and experience in cloud ecosystems.

Qualifications

• CJIS clearance eligibility required (U.S. citizenship or Green Card).
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 5+ years of combined infrastructure and data engineering experience.
• Advanced Python programming (5+ years).
• Expert knowledge of Apache Airflow deployment and administration.
• Strong experience deploying and managing Apache Superset or similar BI platforms.
• Cloud platform expertise across AWS, GCP, Azure, or OCI including IAM, networking, and managed services.
• Infrastructure-as-Code proficiency (e.g., Terraform).
• Container orchestration with Kubernetes and/or Docker in production.
• Knowledge of DBT and OpenMetadata.
• SQL and data modeling expertise.
• Experience with data security and compliance requirements.
• Proven experience using AI technologies to enhance decision-making and workflows.

Responsibilities

• Deploy and manage core data platform tooling (Airflow, Superset) in production.
• Manage IaC for data platform components using Terraform.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for platform services and data workflows.
• Enforce platform security, access controls, and compliance standards.
• Develop data models with DBT and catalog assets in OpenMetadata.
• Write Python for platform automation and data processing.
• Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership.
