Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine in the US and Europe seeks a Principal Engineer, Platform & Cloud Engineering to advance digital imaging technology. This role can be located in Beerse, Leiden, Madrid, Maidenhead, Raritan, or Spring House.

You will drive technology strategy, architect cloud solutions on AWS/Azure, and lead AI platform efforts while mentoring engineers across global teams and delivering high-value imaging workflows.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree with 4–6 years experience or Master’s with 4+ years experience in CS/related field.
• Proven ability to lead technology platforms, programs and projects.
• Experience with Python, Java, C++, or related languages.
• Experience with AWS EC2 and S3.
• Experience with containerization (Docker/Singularity/Kubernetes) and AWS EKS.
• Experience with Windows and Linux platforms.
• Experience with technical vendor management.
• Experience working on cross-functional and global teams.
• Experience in a fast-paced collaborative environment.

Responsabilidades

• Set technology strategy/roadmaps and lead deployments across Digital Imaging platforms.
• Collaborate with business partners in multiple domains to deliver solutions.
• Contribute expertise to identify opportunities and impact for imaging technology platforms.
• Partner with IT and external imaging communities across the Life Sciences industry.
• Drive the technology stack: scheduling, monitoring, deployment, orchestration and reuse.
• Leverage cloud capabilities to deliver effective solutions.
• Design and develop generative/agentic AI platforms and LLM-powered apps.
• Build and deploy solutions on Cloud (AWS or Azure) with reusable patterns.
• Mentor junior team members and promote technical excellence.
