Zusammenfassung

Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine seeks a Principal AI Engineer for the Technology Services team in Raritan, NJ. The role focuses on cloud-native modernization of GenAI workloads on AWS, with emphasis on Bedrock, multi-account landing zones, and well-architected patterns.

You will lead a team, drive cost and performance improvements, and collaborate with Quality and ISRM to ensure compliant, scalable infrastructure. Strong leadership and communication skills are required.

Qualifikationen

• Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in cloud infrastructure or platform engineering with at least 2 years in people leadership.
• Bachelor’s degree in CS, Engineering, IT or related field; Master’s/PhD preferred.
• Hands-on ownership of a production AWS estate at enterprise scale, multi-account architecture, landing zone design.
• Experience delivering infrastructure as code as primary interface, with versioned code.
• Experience in regulated environments (GxP, SOX) and audit-ready evidence.
• Experience supporting AI/ML or Generative AI on AWS, including managed inference services.

Aufgaben

• Own GenAI cloud-native modernization roadmap on AWS and re-platform where needed.
• Define AWS Well-Architected reference architecture for a cloud-native standard.
• Engineer AWS foundation: Bedrock access, landing zone, multi-account design, networking, IAM.
• Codify estate as IaC using Terraform and CDK.
• Manage migration waves with blue-green cutover and rollback planning.
• Lead reliable, compliant hosting for enterprise platform capabilities and governance.
