Johnson & Johnson seeks a Principal Engineer for Platform & Cloud Engineering to join the R&D Advanced Computing group. Locations include Spring House, PA; Raritan, NJ; Beerse, BE; Leiden, NL; Madrid, ES; Maidenhead, UK, or remote.

The role leads technology platforms for AI-native drug discovery, partnering with Therapeutics Discovery and Data Sciences to architect scalable cloud solutions, containerization, and AI/ML workflows that accelerate drug discovery.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree with several years of industry experience in platform/cloud engineering.
• Proven ability to lead technology platforms, programs and projects.
• Experience with Python, Java, C++, or related languages.
• Experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda) and GraphQL.
• Experience with container tech (Docker, Kubernetes) and GPU usage for AI workloads.

Responsabilidades

• Set technology strategy/roadmaps and lead deployments to AI native drug discovery teams.
• Maintain partnerships with Therapeutics Discovery, Data Sciences and other business partners.
• Contribute to scalable platform architectures and orchestration of cloud solutions.
• Collaborate across IT and industry groups, drive architectural decisions.
• Lead adoption of cloud-native patterns, automation, monitoring, and security.
• Design and develop AI platforms including LLM-powered apps and RAG workflows.
• Build and operate cloud solutions on AWS/Azure with reusable patterns.
