Job summary

Ping Identity in Austin, Texas is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join the PingOne Platform Administration team. You will design, build, test, and deploy scalable backend services and APIs, with a focus on admin workflows and platform tooling.

Collaborate with product, QA, UX, and engineering peers to deliver secure, reliable SaaS solutions; mentor juniors; and drive observability and deployment safety.

Qualifications

5-7+ years of professional software engineering on Agile teams.
Strong backend experience building production-grade services.
3+ years in Java; NodeJS and TypeScript useful.
Experience designing REST APIs and distributed systems.
Familiarity with cloud-native development, CI/CD, and automated testing.

Responsibilities

Design and develop backend services and APIs for PingOne Platform Administration.
Contribute to AI-related platform tooling and MCP server capabilities.
Collaborate with product, QA, UX, and engineering teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
Mentor other engineers through design reviews and daily collaboration.
Improve observability, reliability, maintainability, and deployment safety.
