Job summary

Ping Identity is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join the PingOne Platform Administration team in Denver. You will design, build, test, and deploy scalable backend services and AI-enabled tooling that streamline admin workflows for prospects and customers.

You will mentor peers, influence technical directions, and collaborate across product, QA, UX, and platform teams while embracing cloud-native development, CI/CD, and robust production support.

Qualifications

• 5–7+ years of professional software engineering on Agile teams.
• Strong backend development building production-grade services.
• 3+ years with Java services.
• Experience with NodeJS services and REST APIs.
• Experience with TypeScript is highly desired.
• Experience in Identity Management and SaaS applications is highly desired.
• Experience MCP servers and AI tooling is highly desired.
• Experience with cloud-native development, CI/CD, and production support.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop backend services and APIs for PingOne Platform Administration.
• Contribute to AI-enabled platform tooling and MCP server capabilities.
• Collaborate with product management, QA, UX, and peers to deliver solutions.
• Shape technical direction, standards, and system design decisions.
• Mentor engineers through design and code reviews.
• Improve observability, reliability, and deployment safety.
