Job summary
Ping Identity is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join the PingOne Platform Administration team. You will design, build, test, and deploy scalable backend services and APIs that enable admin experiences for prospects and customers.
You will mentor engineers, collaborate with product, QA, UX, and platform teams, and contribute to AI-related tooling and MCP server capabilities, with a focus on reliability, observability, and secure software delivery.
Qualifications
- 5-7+ years of professional software engineering experience on Agile teams.
- 3+ years of Java service development.
- Experience developing NodeJS services and TypeScript is highly desired.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop backend services and APIs for PingOne Platform Administration.
- Contribute to AI-related platform tooling, including MCP server capabilities.
- Mentor engineers through design reviews, code reviews, and day-to-day collaboration.
- Support observability, reliability, maintainability, and deployment safety of team-owned services.
- Collaborate with product managers, QA, UX, and peer engineering teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
