Job summary

Temporal Technologies is seeking a Senior Platform Architect to own production readiness from purchase to stable production, turning complex challenges into scalable, repeatable solutions. You’ll shape delivery patterns, operational standards, and enablement strategies that accelerate customer success and create lasting competitive advantage across teams and environments.

Must reside in the Western Time Zone.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of professional software engineering or solutions engineering experience.
• Strong understanding of distributed systems, workflow orchestration, and reliability engineering principles.
• Proficiency in at least one modern programming language such as Go, Java, TypeScript, or Python.
• Experience building, deploying, and operating production systems at scale.
• Demonstrated ability to debug complex technical issues and guide customers through resolution.
• Strong customer-facing skills with the ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to diverse audiences.
• Experience creating technical documentation, runbooks, and training materials.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently while collaborating across teams.
• Willingness to travel occasionally for customer engagements and team events.

Responsibilities

• Own Production Readiness and Activation for customer deployments.
• Run the Customer's Technical Program with KPI-driven success plans.
• Define standards for patterns, training, governance, and operational readiness.
• Lead cross-functional coordination to ensure on-time, high-quality delivery.
• Proactively manage technical risk, migrations, and architectural debt.
• Monitor health signals and intervene before customers notice issues.
• Lead technical reviews and maturity assessments.
• Certify teams and workloads as production-ready.
• Translate production success into renewal and growth narratives.
• Advocate for customer needs and real-world patterns internally.
