Toshiba Global Commerce Solutions in Research Triangle Park, NC seeks a hands‑on Senior Software Architect to lead end‑to‑end solution delivery across platform development, client engagement, and partner integrations for major retail platforms.

You will own the architecture lifecycle from discovery to delivery, guiding rapid prototyping and production implementation while building underlying platform capabilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years of professional software development experience with hands‑on coding and prototyping.
• 5+ years designing cloud‑native, microservices, or event‑driven architectures (Azure or equivalent).
• Experience owning end‑to‑end solution delivery including design, implementation, and post‑release accountability.
• Experience with partner integrations — payments, loyalty, or authentication providers.
• Hands‑on experience building prototypes or reference implementations to validate architecture.
• Excellent stakeholder communication and ability to facilitate workshops.

Responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end solution architecture across discovery, design, delivery, and operational readiness for platform and client solutions.
• Design and build new platform infrastructure to support emerging product requirements.
• Produce and maintain architectural artifacts (ADRs, interface contracts, data flow diagrams, infra specs).
• Define and enforce architecture standards, integration patterns, and non‑functional requirements across all solutions.
