Job summary

Toyota Financial Services (TFS) is seeking a Principal Architect to own the end-to-end platform architecture across application, data, AI/ML, and infrastructure. You will set technical direction, drive RFCs/ADRs, and partner with engineering leaders to shape scalable, secure cloud-native solutions on AWS.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field; equivalent practical experience accepted.
• 10+ years in software engineering with hands-on architecture experience on AWS.
• Proven ability to own platform architecture end-to-end and drive cross-team decisions.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end platform reference architecture across app, data, AI/ML, and infra.
• Lead RFCs, ADRs, and design reviews; set engineering standards and security posture.
• Mentor engineers and influence across product, program management, and leadership.
• Partner with ML/AI teams to integrate Bedrock, SageMaker, and RAG pipelines.
