Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field.
• 10+ years of experience in software engineering and architecture (3+ years in system/application design).
• Proven track record designing and deploying large-scale cloud-native solutions (preferably AWS).
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Excellent communicator with experience leading engineering teams and cross-functional projects.
• Willingness to support off-hours incident response when needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead design discussions around APIs, databases, caching, messaging, resilience, and observability.
• Collaborate with product owners to design end-to-end architecture for applications across financial services.
• Analyze trade-offs and propose scalable, secure solutions aligned with business goals.
• Evaluate new software patterns and PoCs across the stack.
• Lead engineering efforts for AWS solutions and cloud-native architectures.
• Develop strategies for data lake and processing frameworks for real-time data ingestion and monitoring.
• Design cloud-native applications using AWS services with modern architectures including serverless approaches.
• Incorporate DevSecOps principles into architecture and documentation.
