Job summary

Polyram USA, LLC is seeking a Process Engineer to optimize production processes, improve efficiency, and ensure product quality across manufacturing operations. You will analyze data, design improvements, and work closely with production teams to implement solutions.

This full-time, on-site role requires hands-on experience in plastics manufacturing, DOE techniques, and collaboration with R&D and QA to meet specifications. You will train staff and provide customer support at facilities as needed.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Plastics, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, or related field.
  • Hands-on willingness to work in production environment.
  • Ability to work non-conventional hours (if needed).
  • Experience in the plastics manufacturing industry is a plus.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in process simulation software and statistical tools.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and monitor processes to enhance production efficiency.
  • Analyze production data to identify areas for improvement.
  • Support production to meet company goals.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve process-related issues with the team.
  • Design and implement process control systems and ensure compliance with engineering standards.
  • Conduct DOE trials to evaluate feasibility and performance.
  • Collaborate with R&D and Quality Assurance to ensure product quality.
  • Train operators and technical staff on new processes.
