Octapharma Plasma is seeking a role focused on executing the plasmapheresis process through venipuncture and machine operation. The position emphasizes donor care, accurate labeling, and strict adherence to SOPs and safety protocols.

The incumbent will set up equipment, monitor donor conditions, troubleshoot machine alarms, and maintain comprehensive records, while supporting a collaborative team and adhering to all safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3 months in a medical/healthcare setting preferred.
• Training completed before performing duties independently.

Responsabilités

• Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations to maintain quality.
• Deliver high-quality donor service and protect donor privacy.
• Review donor ID, monitor donor conditions, ensure donor comfort and safety.
• Set up equipment for venipuncture and plasmapheresis; label units accurately.
• Operate plasmapheresis machines, troubleshoot alarms, document exceptions.
• Maintain logs and proper documentation; ensure cleanliness and inventory.
• Mentor team members as a designated trainer and support QA tasks.
• Oversee donor flow and schedule adherence.
