Octapharma Plasma, Inc. is seeking a Donor Center Technician responsible for donor eligibility, plasma collection, and product processing. This role ensures compliance with state and federal regulations and delivers a high level of customer service to donors.

The position requires basic computer skills, strong English communication, and the ability to follow SOPs and safety protocols. Training and career development are provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Three months of clerical or customer service experience preferred.
• Certification/licensing varies by state.
• Basic computer skills and English proficiency required.
• Ability to follow SOPs and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with FDA, OSHA, CLIA, and GMP SOPs.
• Deliver high level customer service and positive donor experience.
• Assess donor eligibility by vitals and testing per SOPs.
• Monitor donor conditions for safety and product quality.
• Set up, operate plasmapheresis equipment and respond to alarms.
• Collect, process, and store plasma products per SOPs and regulations.
• Maintain donor center equipment and perform QC checks.
• Keep work areas clean and organized; manage inventory FIFO.
• Maintain records, confidentiality, and reporting per policy.
• Mentor and train junior technicians as a designated trainer.
• Oversee donor flow and center schedules.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
