Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Certification as Phlebotomist, Donor Center Technician, Plasma Processor and Designated Trainer.
• CPR certification.
• Typically requires 6 years of related phlebotomy/donor processing/plasma processing experience.

Responsibilities

• Act as shift leader in Center Manager's absence and oversee donor floor operations.
• Supervise donor center staff and coordinate staffing, tasks, and coaching.
• Create staff schedules to accommodate donor cycles.
• Manage inventory levels and submit vendor orders for supplies.
• Keep Center Manager informed of irregularities and implement corrective actions.
• Support and execute daily plans to meet throughput, quality, and productivity targets.
• Collaborate with Quality to address deviations in real time.
• Monitor donor flow and address delays to ensure a great donor experience.
• Maintain compliance with state/federal regulations and SOPs (FDA, OSHA, CLIA, cGMP).
• Document records accurately and ensure clean, safe facility conditions.
