Job summary

Grifols, S.A is seeking a Senior Operations Supervisor in Roanoke, VA to lead donor center operations, supervise staff, and ensure compliance with FDA, OSHA, CLIA and cGMP standards. You will support the Center Manager, drive performance, donor satisfaction and continuous improvement.

The role requires 6+ years in phlebotomy/donor processing with strong customer service and regulatory knowledge, and the ability to manage schedules, inventory and safety protocols in a high-volume plasma

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required with related phlebotomy experience.
• Phlebotomy and donor center certifications preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to follow SOPs and regulatory guidelines.
• Ability to work in a highly regulated medical operations environment.

Responsibilities

• Acts as shift lead in Center Manager's absence and covers donor flow tasks.
• Oversees donor operations and supervises staff during shifts; coordinates schedules.
• Creates employee schedules aligned with donor cycles and staffing needs.
• Maintains inventory levels, submits vendor orders; ensures supplies are adequate.
• Alerts Center Manager to irregularities and proposes corrective action plans.
• Supports daily operation plans to meet donor throughput, quality and productivity targets.
