Job summary

Takeda seeks a Sr. Utilities Engineer to support Social Circle (GA) site operations, focusing on plant utility systems, reliability, and continuous improvement.

You will troubleshoot, implement energy and water reduction initiatives, and collaborate across Maintenance, Operations, Quality, and EH&S to keep manufacturing running smoothly. The role emphasizes hands-on engineering in a 24/7 manufacturing environment, with involvement in CAPA, change controls, and qualification activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering required with 3+ years of relevant engineering experience.
• Experience with plant/utilities or dark/gray utilities is preferred.
• Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills; capable of practical, cost-effective solutions.
• Ability to read P&IDs, process flow diagrams, utility schematics, and drawings.

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering support and troubleshooting for plant utility systems (cooling towers, boilers, HVAC, water systems, compressed air, process gases).
• Monitor performance, analyze data, and develop solutions to improve reliability, capacity, and efficiency.
• Lead or support studies, equipment specs, system assessments, and capital projects from concept to implementation.
• Support preventive/predictive maintenance and continuous improvement initiatives.
