Job summary

Takeda in Social Circle, GA is seeking a Sr. Utilities Engineer to support plant utility systems across cooling towers, boilers, HVAC, water and gas distribution.

You will troubleshoot, optimize reliability, and lead projects from concept to implementation in a hands-on manufacturing environment. You will collaborate with Maintenance, Operations, Quality, Automation, Validation, Reliability Engineering and EH&S to improve site performance, reduce energy use, and ensure cGMP compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering required with 3+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience with plant utilities or dark/gray utilities preferred.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to read P&IDs and schematics.
• Knowledge of cGMP, OSHA, EPA is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering support and troubleshooting for plant utility systems (cooling towers, boilers, HVAC, water, gases).
• Monitor system performance and develop reliability improvements.
• Lead or support studies, specs, design packages, and capital projects.
