Job summary

Takeda in Social Circle, GA is seeking a Lead Utilities Technician to operate, maintain, and troubleshoot plant utilities equipment in a cGMP pharmaceutical manufacturing setting. You will supervise a team, perform preventive and corrective maintenance, and ensure safety and regulatory compliance.

The role requires extensive experience in HVAC, refrigeration, electrical systems, boilers, water treatment, SCADA, SAP/JDE/Maximo familiarity, and the ability to read schematics.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; 12+ years in industrial maintenance preferred.
• Two-year HVAC/building trades certificate or equivalent is desirable.
• Journeyman-certified or equivalent experience highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and train technicians in operation and maintenance of plant utilities.
• Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance per SOPs and cGMP.
• Read and interpret manuals, schematics, and P&IDs; document work orders and changes.
• Coordinate with other departments and escort contractors as needed.
• Utilize CMMS, SAP/JDE/Maximo to manage work orders and changes.
