Job summary

Takeda is seeking a Lead Utilities Technician for our Social Circle, GA site. The role supervises and mentors technicians, leads maintenance of boilers, chillers, HVAC, water systems, and other utilities equipment in a cGMP pharmaceutical manufacturing facility.

The position requires extensive hands-on experience in utilities maintenance, strong troubleshooting skills, and the ability to train others. The role includes shift work and collaboration with Plant Engineering and QA teams.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or GED plus extensive industrial utilities experience.
• Two-year technical certificate in HVAC or building utilities is preferred.
• Journeyman-level training or equivalent experience is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Train and qualify staff in operation and maintenance of utilities equipment.
• Perform preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance on plant utilities systems.
• Operate in a cGMP-compliant environment and document work orders in SOPs.
