Job summary

Iron Horse Midstream operates a processing plant near Amber, OK and seeks a full-time Plant Operator to support daily operations. You will monitor equipment, perform start-ups and shut-downs, and maintain records to ensure safe, efficient performance.

Requirements include 3+ years of natural gas processing experience, leadership ability to train others, SCADA/PLC knowledge, strong English communication, a valid driver's license, and the ability to pass drug and background checks.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3+ years of natural gas processing plant operations experience.
• Knowledge of industry codes/standards, permitting and safety requirements (PSM, CFR 192, OSHA).
• Ability to start-up and troubleshoot facility processes.
• Knowledge of SCADA and PLC systems.
• Leadership skills and ability to train others.
• Fluent English with strong verbal and written communication.
• Valid driver's license with a clean record.
• Pre-employment drug screen, random testing, and background check.

Responsibilities

• Maintain safe, efficient daily operating conditions.
• Start up, shut down and monitor facility equipment.
• Produce and complete operational records and reports.
• Assist in planning and monitoring plant maintenance activities.
• Troubleshoot problems with equipment and assets.
• Contribute to achieving facility efficiency targets.
• Ensure compliance with all regulations and programs.
• Liaise with internal and external customers daily.
• Maintain facility cleanliness and safety standards.
• Recommend equipment/procedural needs to meet goals.
• Assist other disciplines as needed.
• Utilize required tools and equipment to perform duties.
• Oversee and advise others in daily tasks.
• Lift and carry items weighing 50 lbs or more.
• May work long hours, rotating schedule, and be on call.
