Job summary

Summit Midstream Partners is seeking a Plant Operator to run gathering system compressor stations or processing plants. You will monitor, document and optimize performance, perform minor maintenance and coordinate with craft personnel to resolve issues.

Responsibilities include reporting, safety adherence, and ensuring regulatory compliance while supporting continuous operation across multiple locations in the field.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Technical certification or energy-related training preferred.
• Minimum 6 years in energy industry or technical field.
• Experience with SCADA and control systems (Delta V, Wonder Ware, Cygnet, Kimray).
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain gathering system compressor stations or processing plants.
• Complete required reports and logs; monitor equipment.
• Adjust equipment for optimum availability, efficiency and throughput.
• Perform minor maintenance on engines, compressors and related equipment.
• Manage condensate tank liquids and truck scheduling.
• Coordinate with craft personnel to resolve equipment issues promptly.
• Report and troubleshoot abnormal operating conditions; ensure safety compliance.
• Supervise contract personnel in assigned area.
• Identify emergencies and initiate response procedures.
• Promote safe work environment and environmental compliance.
