Job summary

Summit Midstream Corporation is seeking a Plant Operator to run and maintain compressor stations and process plants in our gathering systems. You will log daily operations, monitor equipment, and perform minor maintenance to ensure peak performance.

You will work with craft personnel, assist with condensate handling, and promptly address abnormal conditions while coordinating with contract staff to keep operations safe and compliant.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 1 year in energy industry or technical training in mechanical/electrical field.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain gathering system compressor stations or process plants.
• Document and log daily operations and housekeeping tasks.
• Monitor equipment to maintain availability, efficiency, and throughput.
• Perform minor maintenance on engines, compressors, dehydrators, and associated equipment.
• Assist with daily condensate handling and scheduling.
• Collaborate with craft personnel to resolve equipment issues promptly.
• Identify and respond to abnormal operating conditions and coordinate with contract personnel.
