Qualifications

• 5 plus years of maintenance experience.
• Self-motivated, with exceptional follow-through.
• Industrial truck license will be required.
• Must read/write sufficiently to successfully complete job training requirements and effectively handle computer operation, work order system, material requisitions and understand written job requirements.
• High school diploma/equivalent required.
• Additional training/degree desired.

Responsabilités

• Perform major plant equipment mechanical and electrical repair; assist others in repairs.
• Fabricate, weld, cut material; install/repair pipe; use hand/power tools.
• Understand plant electrical systems; test and repair electrical equipment.
• Size electrical wire, breakers, and disconnects; install conduit/wiring.
• Install, repair, lubricate mechanical equipment; troubleshoot to determine repairs.
• Perform preventive maintenance on major equipment; document work orders.
• Communicate job status and account for spare parts used.
• Follow safety procedures; use PPE; operate forklifts and ladders; ensure a safe work area.
• Assist and educate junior maintenance associates; work with others.
