Job summary

International Paper in Greensboro, NC is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform preventive and corrective maintenance on plant electrical machinery and equipment. You will work safely and efficiently to keep production running and adhere to OSHA and NEC standards.

The role requires hands-on experience in maintaining machines, reading electrical schematics, troubleshooting electrical, mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems, and inputting data into the plant ERP system.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of demonstrated work experience, preferably in manufacturing.
• Understand and demonstrate basic fabrication and welding.
• Understand & demonstrate basic Industrial Electricity.
• Able to read electrical schematics.
• Skilled in diagnosing and fixing electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance on machinery and equipment to enhance operations.
• Input maintenance data into the plant ERP system.
• Make adjustments to ensure product quality meets standards.
• Report any repair issues to supervision.
• Work safely and comply with Plant and OSHA rules and National Electric Code.
• Maintain and service major assemblies and components as needed.
