Job summary

WM is seeking a Maintenance Technician in Tempe, AZ to perform preventive and corrective maintenance on plant equipment and facilities. The role requires inspecting, diagnosing, and repairing a wide range of systems with a focus on safety and reliability.

You’ll manage CMMS work orders and help ensure continuous operations in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities include servicing autoclaves, pumps, boilers, pipes, and electrical systems, while coordinating with leadership to stay compliant

Qualifications

• 4 years of related maintenance experience or training.
• Experience with forklifts, aerial lifts and rigging equipment.
• Knowledge of LOTO, confined space programs and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive, corrective, and emergency maintenance on plant equipment and facilities.
• Diagnose equipment issues and perform repairs; participate in on-call rotations.
• Maintain and service autoclave systems, pumps, pipes, valves, conveyors, boilers and electrical systems.
• Handle electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic work safely and efficiently.
• Document work orders and update CMMS with accuracy and timeliness.
• Order parts and manage inventory for maintenance tasks.
