Job summary

WM is seeking a Senior Plant Maintenance Technician to sustain and enhance the performance of our recycling and processing facilities. The role emphasizes safety, reliability, and efficiency while maintaining equipment such as balers, conveyors, motors, pumps, and related systems.

The position offers a Monday–Friday day shift with opportunities for overtime, a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, and a stock purchase plan.

Qualifications

• 4 years of relevant work experience.
• Be over 18 years of age.
• Legally eligible to work in the United States.
• Ability to perform physical requirements of the position.

Responsibilities

• Conduct preventive maintenance inspections and diagnose, repair, and rebuild major equipment.
• Maintain the Daily Equipment Inspections backlog.
• Adjust procedures to meet production schedules and communicate needs to management.
• Inspect third‑party repairs and rebuilds; recommend improvements.
