Lowe's is seeking a results-driven Operations Manager in Statesville, NC to lead distribution center activities, ensure safety, manage budgets, and drive efficiency across shifts. You will work with planning, HR, and leadership to optimize performance and customer service while mentoring staff and implementing corporate initiatives.

The role demands strong leadership, budgeting acumen, and the ability to coordinate across multiple teams and facilities.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Transportation, Industrial Engineering, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• 1 year experience in distribution center operations (or 5 years if education not met)
• Leadership experience with or without direct report responsibility
• Experience mentoring and coaching others
• Proven record of complying with safety requirements

• Drive safety compliance and cultivate a safety-focused culture among team
• Communicate effectively with associates across shifts about goals, issues, or improvements
• Assist Planning Manager in developing the annual budget
• Monitor controllable accounts weekly and report variances
• Monitor operations reports to ensure smooth running
• Report key performance and financial figures to upper management and Corporate
• Disseminate daily corporate shipping priorities to Operations
• Track inbound trailers for priority products
• Implement process improvements from Corporate initiatives
• Provide operations and inventory support to other facilities
• Handle store inquiries via calls and emails and escalate when needed
• Assist with HR-related issues including attendance, pay, benefits, and terminations
• Participate in hiring talented individuals for the team
• Set goals and provide clear expectations with timely feedback
• Monitor performance and hold staff accountable to standards
• Provide resources and support to associates as needed
• Assist Supervisors with issues requiring management resolution
• Provide coaching and development opportunities for upward promotion
• Help teams transition through change
