Job summary

Lowe's is seeking a Senior Operations Manager to oversee the flow of product in the distribution environment. You will supervise a team of Operations Supervisors ensuring safe, efficient inventory movement and timely response to changing demand.

You will forecast production, reallocate resources as needed, and drive the team to meet or exceed KPI targets while keeping leadership informed of objectives and daily plans.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain or related field plus 3 years in distribution center ops, or 7 years with increasing responsibilities
• Leadership experience with direct report responsibility
• Experience mentoring and coaching others
• Experience leading a team through change
• Proven record of complying with safety requirements and building a culture of safety
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Working knowledge of warehouse management systems

Responsibilities

• Oversee all of Operations and the flow of product through the building
• Supervise a team of Operations Supervisors to monitor safe, efficient movement of inventory
• Analyze and forecast production volume and reallocate resources as workflow changes
• Lead the team to achieve or exceed KPI targets
• Communicate business objectives and daily workload plans to team and senior leadership
