Lowe's Garysburg, NC is seeking an Operations Supervisor to lead distribution center activities, uphold a safe work environment, and drive efficient supply chain performance. You will supervise teams, allocate tasks, monitor workflow, enforce safety protocols, and coordinate with other departments to meet daily goals while delivering high service levels.

This role requires adaptability and quick decision making, with a focus on cost control, timely deliveries, and building a culture of belonging

Qualifications

• 4 years of experience in distribution center/warehouse operations or related field; or a Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• Able to lift up to 70 pounds; physically able to perform duties as required.
• Basic math and reading comprehension; basic computer skills including MS Office.
• Proven track record of safety compliance and safe work practices.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and lead operations associates in receiving, order-fill, shipping, and support tasks.
• Monitor production volume and allocate tasks for optimal workflow and performance.
• Enforce safety protocols, conduct training, and address safety concerns promptly.
• Respond quickly to changing workflow conditions with real-time decisions.
• Resolve operational issues to minimize supply chain disruptions.
• Communicate business objectives, workload plans, and performance expectations.
• Provide guidance to associates through relations issues and coaching.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance supply chain performance.
